Many Clash of Clans players wonder which squad to upgrade first after upgrading their town halls. This detailed article is about Town Hall 13 troop order. As a TH13, you need to know the correct upgrade order for your troops to be successful in wars.
This upgrade priority is based on the current meta and can be changed based on nerfing or upgrading new troops. Each troop has a different upgrade priority calculated based on its usefulness.
Note: Siege engines should be your last priority if you are from a good and generous clan that is willing to donate. They are a waste of resources and time when your clanmates can donate them to you.
Fortunately, there are no new levels for Barbarians and Goblins in Town Hall 13. You can make any of them Super Troop to farm for resources. I would recommend using Super Barbarians as you don't drop trophies when using them.
electric Dragon
Electro Dragon is an extreme beast, and even after multiple nerfs, this squad still dominates the main attack strategies. Electro Dragon deals chain damage to numerous targets, reducing its damage with each jump. Electro Dragon has good health and deals a lot of damage.
Electro Dragon gets a new level in TH13, bringing it to level 4. This upgrade will cost 16,000,000 elixirs and 16 days to upgrade. Electron Dragon should be your go-to as a TH13, as it is easy to use and can be used on almost any type of base.
curator
The healer has been a key part of Queen Charge attacks for years. The healer is one of those troops that is still used even after many nerfs. A well-upgraded healer will help keep your queen alive, so you'll want to upgrade it as soon as possible.
The upgrade costs 13,000,000 Elixirs and lasts for 14 days. Hit some research potions to speed things up.
yeti
Yeti is a strong attacking and defensive force. Yeti is a splash damage troop that uses Yetimites. Yeti deals a lot of damage and when used correctly, is one of the most useful troops in the game. Yeti gets a new level at Town Hall 13 which costs 15,000,000 Elixirs and takes 16 days to complete.
Yeti has above average health and deals a lot of damage, making him a good troop to create a funnel. Yetimites deployed by Yeti have a good amount of health, making them good at bypassing defenses.
pig rider
Hog Rider and Miner are the current goals of the game. They'll be nerfed in the next October update, so we're keeping them a bit lower on the list. Hog Rider is still a high priority troop due to his recent buffs. Upgrading your Hog Rider costs 280,000 Dark Elixirs and 16 days to upgrade.
Bergmann
As mentioned above, miners are currently collaborating with Hog Riders on a large scale. You should upgrade your miner right after Hog Rider as these troops work very well together. The miner can be upgraded to level 7 as town hall 13. This upgrade costs 13,000,000 elixirs and 15 days 12 hours.
globo
The balloon has always been a high priority troop at all levels of the council. You can incorporate them into any attack strategy and you will get good results. Balloons can be used to clear additional defenses on the edges of the base, or used as air bomb tanks for healers or other airborne troops.
The globe can be upgraded to level 9 at Town Hall 13, which costs 14,000,000 Elixirs and 16 days to upgrade. You should work on it as soon as possible to unlock better attack tactics.
stage wolf
Historically, the Lava Hound has been the top priority troop due to its usefulness in the lower levels of Town Hall. then moved down the priority list due to nerfs. Lava Hound has been improved in recent updates and is now back in the game.
Lava Hound can be maxed out at Town Hall 13. This upgrade costs 270,000 Dark Elixirs and lasts for 16 days. You should upgrade your Lava Hound to deal with other Town Hall 13 with your LavaLoon attacks.
headhunter
Headhunter likes to attack enemy heroes, which makes them extremely useful in any attacking strategy. They can be used to take out enemy heroes as the first step of your attack. The HeadHunter's cards trigger a poison spell effect that slows its target.
Headhunter can be maxed out in Town Hall 13, costing 240,000 Dark Elixirs and taking 16 days in total. Like Lava Hound, Headhunter is a good Clan Castle squad. Used to slow down attackers.

Dragon is one of the oldest troops in the game and has been used in multiple attack strategies for years. Dragon has received many buffs in recent updates that have increased its upgrade priority points. Extremely easy to use, Dragon is the right force for you if you are not very good with hybrid attack strategies.
Dragon gets a new level in Town Hall 13 which costs 15,000,000 Elixirs and 16 days to complete. Currently, Town Hall 13 players are using dragons a lot and you should update them as soon as possible.

Dragon Rider can work with dragons to get the best results from his attack strategy. Unlike normal dragons, Dragon Rider opts for defense stacking. Dragon Rider has good health and also deals a lot of damage.
Dragon Riders are used in multiple attack strategies with regular dragons and electro-drakes. You should work on your dragon rider after upgrading the normal dragon. Level 2 Dragon Rider costs 16,000,000 Elixirs and 15 days of upgrade.
invisibility spell
The invisibility spell is an extremely useful elixir spell that can be used in any attack strategy. Invisibility spells can turn everything within a radius invisible for a few seconds. While it is difficult to cast correctly, all Clash of Clans players should learn how to use this spell.

PEKKA
PEKKA can be maxed out at Town Hall 13. PEKKA has always been used in many different attack strategies. PEKKA's upgrade priority has increased recently due to the buffs it has received in the latest updates. This upgrade costs 14,000,000 Elixirs and lasts for 15 days.
Wandbrecher
With the addition of siege engines, Wall Breaker's upgrade priority was lowered a bit. You can still move it two steps up if you want. You can upgrade Wall Breaker before Poison Spell if you want. This upgrade will cost you 13,000,000 Elixirs and 14 days 12 hours.

Wizard is a good squad to funnel into. It can be used to clear the extra buildings on the edges of the base before launching your war attack. Caster deals a lot of damage. If you plan on using super launchers in your war attacks, you can move the launchers up on your priority list and upgrade them once you're done with the invisibility spell.
Wizard can be maxed out at Town Hall 13, and the upgrade costs 14,200,000 elixirs and 14d 12h to complete.
baby dragon
Another good squad to create a funnel. Baby Dragons are often deployed to Clan Castles to defend the base or to clear out the additional buildings on the outskirts of Warbases. Baby Dragon will cost you 12,000,000 elixirs and 2 weeks to upgrade.
Günstling
Minion is a good cleanup squad to use for multiple attack strategies like LavaLoonian or Dragion. Minion can be used to clear the base in time when all defenses are already down. This upgrade costs 250,000 Dark Elixir and takes 15 days and 12 hours to complete.
Valkyrie
Valkyrie has gone way down the upgrade priority list due to poor health. Valkyrie isn't used much in the game right now. You should upgrade them after you are done with the important troops.
siege engines
You can request any siege engines you want to use so they are at the bottom of your upgrade priority list. Upgrade the siege machines that you like. They all work very well.

Leap Spell can be maxed out at Town Hall 13. The reason leap spells are so low on the priority list is the inclusion of siege engines in the game. The healing spell is maxed out at Town Hall 13. Upgrading your healing spell to level 8 costs 14,000,000 Elixirs and 16 days to complete.
